Building Relationships
The pastoral and curriculum care of our students is extremely important to us.
Our Whare Pastoral Leaders lead our four Awa.
They are actively involved in the wellbeing and academic support of their students.
Our Whānau Teachers know their students very well. The Whānau teacher is the first point of contact for
students and whānau. Please email them or ring the school office.
Whānau teachers work alongside students and whānau to develop, track and monitor their Individual Learning Programmes. They also track academic progress and attendance.
Whānau classes are grouped in Year 7-8, Year 9-10 and Year 11-13.
Student Academic Progress or Wellbeing
If you need to communicate with school to discuss your child’s progress or wellbeing, please contact their Whānau teacher in the first point instance. If additional assistance is required, contact your child’s
Whare Pastoral Leader or one of the Senior Leaders of Learning.
