BYOD Bring Your Own Device

Bring Your Own Device
BYOD At Te Paepae o Aotea

At Te Paepae o Aotea, we embrace digital learning as a vital part of our students’ educational journey.
All Year 9-13 pupils will be expected to bring a device to use in their classes.
We are committed to using a device as a tool to support the students’ learning and allow students to work online from home should the situation arise.
Year 7 & 8 can bring their own learning device; however, there are devices available for use during classes.

Why BYOD?

Our BYOD approach empowers students to:

  • Access learning resources anytime, anywhere
  • Develop digital literacy and responsibility
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and teachers
  • Personalise their learning experience

We recommend devices that meet the following minimum specifications:

  • Battery life: 6+ hours
