Waka Ama Tournament Week
Waka Ama is a rapidly growing sport at Te Paepae o Aotea. Each year, Te Paepae o Aotea proudly sends at least one team to compete at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Waka Ama Nationals held in Rotorua. Our teams are guided and supported by a dedicated management crew and commit to early morning training sessions on the Pātea River in preparation for tournament week.
