Volleyball

Volleyball is a popular sport at Te Paepae o Aotea for Year 9-13 students, with the season taking place during Terms 1 and 4. Students compete in the local Hāwera Volleyball Competition held at the TSB Hub.

Our volleyball programme is supported by dedicated staff and members of our wider community, whose commitment helps prepare our teams for competition each year. Their guidance and support ensure our players are ready to represent Te Paepae o Aotea at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships held in Palmerston North.

Volleyball also provides students with the opportunity to represent the school in our annual sports exchanges against Whanganui High School and Waihopai College. These events are highly anticipated highlights on the school sporting calendar and provide valuable experiences both on and off the court.
