2025 was a great year for golf at Te Paepae o Aotea. Our students did exceptionally well both in school events and representing

Taranaki.
The school golf championship was held at Sandfords Manaia Golf Club. Divian Denton won the overall top golfer; Afeef Ridzuan won the senior Stableford competition and Ollie Symes won the Juniors.
2025 was also the year of the inaugural TPOA match play trophy which was won by Vivaan Chand in a close final against Ryan Finey.
Divan Denton, Vivaan Chand, & Ollie Symes all represented Taranaki at different tournaments across the country.
Ollie Symes was also part of the Manaia Golf Club team to win the
Taranaki Handicap Pennants for the first time in 66 years.
Golf is continuing to grow at our Kura with Futures Taranaki
coming to show some students how to golf and running pop up driving ranges at Te Ngutu Golf Club.
