Senior Honour Badges

Taupaenui Excellence Honour Awards for Academic, Sports and Arts/Cultural Activities

Honour Badge

An Honour Badge is a reward for EXCELLENCE and ACHIEVEMENT in a school sport or art/cultural activity. Out of school activities may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Nominations can come from anyone, at any time, as long as they are submitted by End of Term 3 and also endorsed by a coach, manager, parent or staff member. No late nominations will be accepted.

Once a Honour Badge has been received in a particular field, it is unlikely that one for the same activity will be repeatedly awarded in following years, e.g. you will not be able to get two or more honors badges in one field.  You will be acknowledged.

Please ensure you read the criteria for each award.

All nominations are to be printed off and handed into the school office, library or sports office. The final awarding of an Honour Badge shall be decided by the Te Paepae o Aotea committee.  Our Tumuaki will have the final decision.
